Student Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to tutoring services provided by Elevate Tuition. By booking tutoring sessions, students and parents/guardians agree to the terms outlined in this document.
2. Booking Lessons
Tutoring sessions must be booked through the Elevate Tuition booking system or directly through the company. Sessions are scheduled based on tutor availability.
3. Payment
Payment for tutoring sessions must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed with Elevate Tuition. Failure to make payment may result in suspension of services.
4. Cancellation Policy
Sessions cancelled with at least 4 hours’ notice may be rescheduled subject to tutor availability. Sessions cancelled with less than 4 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
5. Late Arrival
If a student arrives late to a session, the lesson will still finish at the originally scheduled time unless otherwise agreed.
6. Repeated Cancellations
While Elevate Tuition understands that occasional scheduling changes may be necessary, repeated cancellations or frequent rescheduling of sessions may affect tutor availability. Elevate Tuition reserves the right to review lesson scheduling arrangements or withdraw regular booking slots if cancellations occur repeatedly.
7. Student No-Shows
If a student fails to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice, the lesson may be treated as a completed session and may be charged accordingly.
8. Tutor Availability
If a tutor becomes unavailable due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, Elevate Tuition
will attempt to provide a replacement tutor or reschedule the session.
9. Online Lessons
For online tutoring sessions, students must ensure they have a suitable device, internet connection, and a suitable learning environment. Elevate Tuition is not responsible for disruptions caused by technical issues outside its control.
10. Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to attend lessons on time, engage respectfully with tutors, and
participate actively in the learning process.
11. Safeguarding
Elevate Tuition is committed to safeguarding students. Tutors follow safeguarding
procedures and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
12. Data Protection
Elevate Tuition processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection
Act 2018.
13. Limitation of Liability
While Elevate Tuition aims to provide high-quality tutoring, no guarantee is made
regarding specific academic results.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
